Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor has died today aged 79, and RIP Elizabeth Taylor quickly became a trending term on Twitter, as fans paid tribute.
One of her former husbands Richard Burton also featured in the trends list.
Liz had a Twitter page of her own @DameElizabeth, her last tweet coming on February 9th. She wrote: "My interview in Bazaar with Kim Kardashian came out!!!

Singer Kylie Minogue referenced Liz Taylor's love of diamonds, which saw her launch the hugely popular White Diamond perfume.
