MICHAEL JACKSON'S FATHER TO SUE MEDICS

THE father of singer Michael Jackson is planning to launch a massive lawsuit against his son’s doctors

Joe Jackson has asked a judge in Los Angeles to order staff at the hospital where Michael died of an overdose of the anaesthetic Propofol last June to hand over records.

The singer’s personal physician, Dr Conrad Murray, was not named in the papers.

But a family friend said last night: “Joe aims to sue every doctor, including Murray, who he believes enabled Michael’s addictions to painkillers and other drugs.

“He believes he could win even greater damages than those against OJ Simpson.”

A record 33.5million dollars (£20million) was awarded against the former American football hero and film star in 1997 for the deaths of his ex-wife and her friend, two years after he was cleared of their murders.
