How do you feel about Michaels father Joe Jackson

He made The Jackson 5 and i appreciate him for that, BUT from what Michael said I HATE JOE JACKSON,Michael said Joe abussed him and called him big nose WHO THE HECK DOES THAT TO THERE CHILD

at first i thought he was like any father, encourege his sons , and do all fater stuff.

but wen i read that michael said that he abused him and used to beat him (he used to beat all jackson 5 if they made mistake, but michael was the most, because he was defending himself as he said) i hated him , even before i listen to one song of michael

i just hate children abusers

yes its true michael's father was/did belt michael and his brother
know as forum of abuse more then some kind of dispaln?
i don't know michael's father or why he would do a such thing to michael or hisbrother's as a forum of dispaln?

That's very true, i think it's utterly disgusting.... he ain't bothered whats happened all he's bothered about is the income he's gonna recieve.... i know as a father he wanted his kids to be succesful bt belting them with a belt if they made a "wrong move" for a routine & so on is a bit too far...

I have most if not all of MJ's books.... & it's quite shocking some of the stuff that it' them about his up-bringing.

LONDON - One thing about Joe Jackson: He sure is busy cashing in on his superstar son's death.

Given Michael Jackson's final concerts had been scheduled for London and were instant sellouts, Papa Joe has moved to make some serious moolah tied to the release of ''This Is It,'' the upcoming film of Michael's final rehearsals for that tour.

I've learned that when the film opens in England, Joe will introduce screenings during the first week at selected venues. Word has it, he will be paid about $250,000 for his, uh, efforts -- which reportedly will include sharing a few stories about the King of Pop with audiences before the screenings.

I hate people trying to get money at any price. And Joe Jackson seems to be this kind of man. He did it when Michael was a child, and goes on doing it even after his death.

I wish joe would die. He abused his son, beat him with a belt to get money and now look at him. he wants to get loads of money off the singers tour that had no interfirence with him altogether, i meen WTF

it's a pity he wasn't able to establish normal relationship with his son

here is some facts i found ( you may think im too harsh on him but he was at michael) :

i only want to say at the beggining that only one good thing was out of his abusing of his son, it is that he (michael) successd in his later life , and say this success was due to is father abusing in a way that he wanted to make something big out of himself to show his father

-Michael stated that he was physically and emotionally abused during incessant rehearsals, whippings, and name-calling, though he credited his father's discipline for his success


-In one altercation recalled by Marlon, Joseph held Michael upside down by one leg and "pummeled him over and over again with his hand, hitting him on his back and buttocks"

-Joseph would also trip or push his sons into walls

-One night while Michael was asleep, Joseph climbed into his room through the bedroom window, wearing a fright mask and screaming. He said he wanted to teach the children not to leave the window open when they went to sleep. For years afterward, Michael said he suffered nightmares about being kidnapped from his bedroom

-Joseph acknowledged in 2003 that he regularly whipped Michael as a child

-Micael said that he had often cried from loneliness and would sometimes vomit when he saw his father

-In an interview with Martin , Michael acknowledged that his father hurt him when he was a child, but was nonetheless a "genius." When Bashir dismissed the positive remark and continued asking about beatings, Michael put his hand over his face and objected to the questions. He recalled that Joseph sat in a chair with a belt in his hand as he and his siblings rehearsed, and that "if you didn't do it the right way, he would tear you up, really get you"

there are so many sick people in this world.. and maybe Michael's father is not the worst among them.. there was a story on TV about one russian girl who is genius in playing the piano.. her father was cruel and ruthless too, just like Michael's father, he used to bit her if she did something wrong and made her work 24 hours a day, finally she ran away from the house.. and her father claims that she wouldn't be such a genius now without his "strict" method.. i don't know, to my mind such people are just sick
